Leaving

ok..
so todays the big day. Up until yesterday, I didn't really know what to feel about leaving. But in the past 2 days I've flipped between feeling excited and that I make dumb decisions. Feeling really ridiculous for signing up to move so far away for 8 months, when i don't know anyone, don't know how to teach, have never been there and don't speak the language. And then feeling excited to try a million new things, go on adventures, and be apart of a whole new culture. As of now, I just feel stressed about all the packing and details.
I fly out at 8 tonight, to begin my flights and layovers. And I guess the next time I post will be when I get there!

LDH..i know that you are going to have an amazing time. No worries, once you are there and having an amazing time, it will seem like you have hardly been there and it will be time to come home... so enjoy every moment of it, but remember us all as you are doing it!!!

Oh hello there, I know this is really random but this evening I was super bored so I decided I wanted to learn about Honduras and I found an amazing blog written by a girl who did the exact same thing as laura (sorry i'm writing this to everyone else because i'm sure laura wont have time to read these although they are so good) the address of the blog is:

http://www.travelpod.com/travel-blog/claudiacfavre/1/tpod.html

she spent a lot of time writing about her experiences, how she felt as she progressed through her time there, the needs she had being a teacher there, places she traveled in the area and things about the people who live there. It was really neat to read because it helped me really understand what laura is up for this year I think!

Miss you tons laura! I hope your showing everyone there just how amazing a girl you are!
